Who We Are

MemeClip (memeclip.net) is operated by LEARNINGLOGIC LLC ("MemeClip", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use MemeClip, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email us at [email protected].

The Short Version

• We do not keep your photos. A photo you upload is used only to generate the video you asked for. It is not stored on our servers.
• Your videos are deleted after 30 days. Generated videos are kept in your account for 30 days so you can watch and download them, then they are deleted automatically.
• We never publish your photos or videos. We do not post them anywhere, show them to other users, sell them, use them for advertising, or use them to train AI models.
• Upload only photos you are allowed to use. That means yourself, your own pets, or a child you are the parent or legal guardian of. MemeClip does not support face swapping or impersonating other people.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in, we receive your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and profile picture.

Photos you upload. When you start a video, the photos you choose are sent to the service that generates the video. We use them only to create that video and do not store them.

Generated videos. Each video you generate is stored for 30 days so you can view and download it, and then it is deleted.

Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of each order (what you bought, the amount, the date, and the credits added) for billing, refunds, tax, and fraud prevention.

Credits and activity. We keep your credit balance and a record of each generation (the template used, its status, and the time). These records do not contain your photos.

Support requests. If you contact us, we keep your messages and any files you attach so we can help you.

Technical information. Like most websites, we receive basic technical data such as your IP address, browser, device type, and pages visited, and we use cookies (see below).

How We Use Information

We use information only to run MemeClip: to create the videos you request, manage your account and credits, process payments and refunds, prevent fraud and abuse, answer support requests, understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and meet legal obligations.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not publish or share your photos or videos with other users or the public.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your photos or videos for advertising or marketing.
• We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

Who We Share Information With

We share information only with service providers that help us run MemeClip, and only for that purpose: hosting and storage, payment processing (Stripe), sign-in (Google), the processing service that turns your photo into a video, website analytics, and email delivery. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others. If MemeClip is ever sold or merged, information may move to the new operator under this policy.

These providers may process information outside your country. When they do, we rely on the safeguards the law provides for such transfers.

How Long We Keep Information

• Uploaded photos: not stored by us.
• Generated videos: deleted automatically 30 days after they are created.
• Account information: kept until you delete your account.
• Order records: kept for as long as tax, accounting, and payment rules require.
• Support messages: kept for as long as needed to resolve your request.
• Technical logs: kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

Photos You May Upload

To protect everyone's privacy, you may only upload photos of yourself, of your own pets, or of a child for whom you are the parent or legal guardian. Do not upload photos of anyone else. MemeClip does not support face swapping, impersonating real people, or creating misleading videos of anyone. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, and encrypted storage for sensitive settings to protect your information. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your sign-in details safe.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. You can also ask us to delete your account at any time. If you are in the EU, the UK, or another region with a data protection authority, you may also complain to that authority.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your language. We also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use MemeClip. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Children

MemeClip is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. A parent or legal guardian may upload a photo of their own child to use a template. If you believe a child has used MemeClip, contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and we will give notice on the site if the changes are significant.
